Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ crosses Rs 500 crores at the ticket window

Aamir Khan’s “Dangal” which opened up with the positive response from the critics and the general public, is smashing the existing box office records with its collections.

As per the Bollywood Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie collected Rs 31.27 crores Nett at the Indian box office on 10th day of its release. Surprisingly, the film performed better than its opening day at the ticket window yesterday as it collected only Rs 29.78 crores Nett on the first day. The total 10 days collections of “Dangal” at the Indian box office is Rs 270.47 crores Nett and the gross collections is Rs 378.65 crores.

On the other hand, the movie collected Rs 144.28 crores from the overseas markets. The total 10 days collections of “Dangal” worldwide grossed Rs 522.93 crores.

Thus “Dangal” entered Rs 500 crores club at the ticket window within 10 days of its release, it is the Fastest Indian film to reach Rs 500 crores at the ticket window.

Nonetheless, Tollywood power star Pawan Kalyan also showered praises on “Dangal” movie for its great script and congratulated Aamir Khan and the entire team of “Dangal” on his twitter handle. This is the first time Pawan Kalyan tweeted about a film in his twitter account who joined the platform in the year 2015, So this itself reveals that “Dangal” is the best film in the recent times.
